"new learnings"

Time flies so fast. Sembreak has been over. Another chapter of our life has started. In our ICT class, we've learned about background color and background image.

At first, I was hard up in choosing and putting background pictures to my Exer 1. But because the instructions are clear and concise I was not so much hard up to do that activities.

Moving on, I will use those tags in my accounts. I will apply it also in improving my other activities. I want also to share it with my friends.

Outside ICT, we experienced a lot of problems. I was very much disappointed to someone else. What I can say is, before you do something, think it first! It is my first time to be called "*****". And I'm very much thankful to that person. I will never forget you.........♀☻♥♣•

"sembreak 2008"

Finally, our semestral break came. At first, I don't feel any excitement because we are not going to have our break. We, the staffers of our school paper had our seminar workshop last Oct. 28-30. I thought our seminar is boring but I was wrong. That seminar enlighthens our minds that "to be a journalist" is a great opportunity for us to be develop. Our lecturers shared their knowledge about journalism such as news writing, feature writing, editorial writing, sports writing, copyreading, photojournalism and headline writing. They throw their knowledge and we tried to catch those things. At this very young age, I am so much thankful because I had given the chance to know those things.

This seminar was not only about writing. But also to enjoy our sembreak by sharing our thoughts and ideas. We tried our best to make that seminar fruitful. We participated in every workshops given by our lecturers. We are serious and attentive if we had our lectures and seminars. But in times of jokes, we laugh. I enjoyed so much my sembreak because of this seminar. I've learned a lot from this seminar. I will treasure those learnings and I will love to be a journalist.

EXPERIENCE IS THE BEST TEACHER

ICT IV gives us a very exciting class. It gives us learnings that contribute to our improvement. We obtained many learnings from the many activities that have done. Such activities are HTML tags, headings and text alignment. I was quite excited but nervous on our incoming periodical test. We are now going to end the second grading period. Time flies so fast. This grading period is so short for the reason maybe of the many activities like the intramurals 2008. On our ICT IV, I feel blessed because of it's advancement. It's a pride for me to learn about those things.

I was not so much hard up in making our activities in ICT because it is well explained and have an easy understood direction. On our incoming periodical test, I was and maybe hard up because of many difficult lessons. In our research, we had an oral periodical test in a way that we are going to defend our investigatory project. I encountered many problems in amking our project like financial problems and the misunderstanding with our groupmates.

I was able to cope up those problems by being patience in our activities in ICT and hardwork in reviewing in our incoming periodical test. With respect to our problems regarding our IP, we just settle the situation and forgot everything.

Moving on I will continue to be patience and be more prepared for our incoming periodical test.
I've learned from my mistakes and I've learned to solve them.

From the past days, I've learned that we can't trust everybody. It is difficult to find a true friends who are ready to support and understand you. Thanks to the amplage! But suddenly, it just disappeared because of so many lucky persons who hates it! Hope they are happy dealing with it NOW!!! Thanks to THEM!...

A BLESSING?

................ "Another learnings I've learned and another lessons I've learned." It's been a long time since the last time I had my post. At this moment, I realized that being a student of ISNHS is a blessing. Why? Let me share my experiences in ICT IV to prove that ISNHS is a blessing. At the start of Second Grading Period, we have learned to make a web design. Of course we started from the basic. We discussed the Introduction of HTML and on how to make an HTML document. Imagine, we are only an high school students yet we started to learn about web designing.

................ With those learnings, sometimes I hard up because it's my first time to hear and encounter those terms.

................ With these difficulties, I surpass them through the help of our teacher. She explained those terms well. By following the instructions carefully, I addressed those problems easily.

................ Moving on I will continue being an effective listener during the lecture of our teacher.

Outside ICT IV, I have learned a lot. Let me share those things and I hope that you will learn something. Last September, we had a seminar at the ICST. It was a great experience to involve in that seminar. This seminar is for the celebration of Paul's Month. Being an officer of Values officer is an effective way in order for us to develop our sense of leadership. The recognition day came. They gave us the result of our ranking. Even if my rank is lower this grading, I accepted it for the reason that I consider it as a blessing. For me, it is better to have a low grades but you work for it than to have a high grades but you did it in a bad way like being a cheater!

" NEVER WILL I FORGET "

----> We are now a fourth year student. Being a senior is not an easy thing in our high school life. It's a great challenge for us to be a responsible leader. At this time, we are going to start a new grading period. If we try to remember the new learnings that we've studied from the start of this school year until now, it's hard to count them all. These are the many physics concept that have been confusing my mind but now, I can proudly say that I've understand them. These physics concept that I am talking are speed, velocity, acceleration, force, acceleration due to gravity, freefall, projectile motion, law of inertia, law of acceleration, balance force, equilibrum, torque and a lot more. I enjoyed knowing how to graph parabola, ellipse, circle, and hyperbola. I've learned how to balance equation, identifying soluble and insoluble substances and many more. I've learned about economics whether micro or macro. I've learned a lot of lessons from the stories we've read. Those are sharing, loving, having peace, making right decisions and a lot more. The story which put into my mind is The Truce In The Forest for we have discussed it in a long period of time. In our ICT IV, I've learned about internet, blogs and a lot more. We've tackled also mental illness, mental health, arts, expressionism, impressionism and Filipino composers. In short, I've learned a lot of learnings.

----> But then in every effort we do, we encounter barriers that block our goal. There are a lot of problems that I've met. Sometimes, I have no self-acceptance. I have destructed from other factor such as family problems. I don't know how to mnage my time wisely. Sometimes, I am not patient enough to do my tasks.

----> With all this difficulties, I've learned to overcome them. One important aspect of my personality that I need to developed well is self-image. I've said that if others can, I can also.

----> Moving on, with this knowledge, I will gradually accept myself and make use of this fact to build a stronger personality. I will move on to be identified, to be recognized. Never will I forget those learnings because they can lead me to success.

But see, I' ve learned.

>---- I have learned a lot of things in stying here in ISNHS. I have developed my potentials in different aspects. I have encountered new learnings such as concepts in Physics, mathematical analysis, English and Filipino profficiency, MAPEH-CAT, etc. I have learned to develop my leadership through many duties and responsibilities bestowed on me. I have learned new formulas and shortcuts in math, physics and chemistry. I have learned many values integration and we've learned to interact with each other. We learned also about campus ministry in our religion class.

>---- As I've learned a lot of things, I've encountered a lot of problems and challenges also. What are those problems? First and for most, " time management." It's hard for me to manage my time and my works. It's hard for me to decide what I should do first. Another problem also is my "health." I have encountered ear defection. My weaknesses also serves as a barriers in studying. I'm ashame sometimes to share my ideas because I don't have strong pesonality.

>---- "There is always time for everything," my principle in life. What did I do? I learned to have time management. I learned to apply also my other principle which is, " never use failure for not trying again. We may not be unable to undo or reverse the consiquences, we can always make a new start."

>---- Moving on, I will try to do my best for the success of this learnings. I will overcome those barriers in my study and have changes.

"I LOVE ICT IV"

1. What are the new learnings/ discoveries that I have learned?
I have learned a lot of things on this subject. ICT IV have given me new learnings and discoveries. Since June, a lot of experiences that I've experienced leads me in progress with regards to our academic subject, I've learned about the Internet. The history, the persons involved, the definition, the different terms and the importance of Internet were some of the learnings I've came up. With regards to the activities of this subject, we experienced participating on several contest with the support of our teacher. Such contests were Nutri- jingle, Food Festival, etc. I've learned to develop sportsmanship and integrity also.

2.What are the problems/ challenges that I have encountered?

I have encountered a lot of problems/ challenges such as the manipulation of the Yahoo mail. It's my first time to do it.

3.How did I address these challenges?

I overcome these challenges through the help of my teacher and classmates. And of course, through having hope and patience.
